Area Plant Sales
Usually advertised
by word of mouth from neighbor to neighbor, here is a listing of area
plant sales where you can find plants, trees, shrubs and the like to
help you landscape your yard. You'll find the prices at these events
quite reasonable. But get there early to get the best selection!
A program called American Beauties that works with the National Wildlife Foundation to get native plants into peoples home landscapes to encourage wildlife such as pollinators and song birds. Where there is a food source and habitat, a healthy ecosystem can thrive. Visit the American Beauties website where it provides locations to buy such plants locally. It also provides detailed information on the plants that are part of this line--a very aesthetically appealing and informative webpage.
